The Mississippi Department of Revenue would like to extend an invitation to all who may be interested in starting a career at the Mississippi Department of Revenue. We will host a career fair at our main office in Clinton, MS November 9, 2022 from 9 am to 2 pm. Our main office is located at 500 Clinton Center Drive, Clinton, MS 39056. The 2022 Second Amendment Sales Tax Holiday takes place between 12:01 A.M. Friday, August 26, 2022 and 12:00 Midnight Sunday, August 28, 2022.

Effective Jul-01-2022 The sales tax on wholesale purchases and wholesale sales of alcoholic beverages within the State of Mississippi is repealed. Notice 72-22-05
Senate Bill 2844, as passed by the 2022 Session of the Mississippi State Legislature, has been signed by Governor Reeves. This bill will provide the Alcoholic Beverage Control division of the Mississippi Department of Revenue with a path forward to improving our liquor distribution center operations. There are two major components of the bill:
1. The bill provides funding for the design, construction and equipping of a new liquor distribution warehouse.
The Mississippi Department of Revenue has drafted the proposed regulations for medical cannabis dispensaries.
