Miss. Code Ann. Sections 13-3-165 and 13-3-167 authorize the sale of property that has been seized for nonpayment of Mississippi taxes, penalties, interest and/or costs. The property listed below has been seized and will be sold.
NATURE OF TITLE: The right, title and interest of the taxpayer in and to the property are offered for sale subject to any prior valid outstanding mortgages, encumbrances, or other liens in favor of third parties against the taxpayer that are superior to the lien of the Mississippi Department of Revenue. All property is offered for sale "as is" and "where is", without recourse against the State of Mississippi. No guaranty or condition of any of the property, or its fitness for any use or purpose is offered by the Mississippi Department of Revenue.
FORM OF PAYMENT: All payments must be by cash, certified check, cashier’s check or money order and made payable to Mississippi Department of Revenue. Personal checks will not be accepted.
CANCELLATION OF AUCTION: The Mississippi Department of Revenue reserves the right to cancel or postpone any scheduled auction without notice.
