It is a condition of the bailment agreement executed between vendors and the Mississippi Department of Revenue/ABC that vendors shall comply with inventory management guidelines as set forth by the ABC.
ABC policy states that vendors shall maintain no more than an average on hand balance of 8 weeks or less of inventory on hand in the ABC warehouse at Madison, MS. 12 weeks or less can be maintained for some imports with prior approval.
Vendors not in compliance with inventory management guidelines are subject to suspension of SPA's and/or new product listings. Additionally, the ABC may require vendor pickup of excess inventory.
