The Meridian District Office will relocate to the building next door. ​
​The Meridian District Office will relocate to the building next door at 900A Hwy 19 South, Meridian, MS 39301. We will be open for business on Monday, June 26, 2017 at this new location. Our telephone numbers will not change. We may experience interruption of telephone services from Friday, June 23 through Monday, June 26.  In this event, please contact our call center at 601-923-7700 and your call will be directed to Meridian personnel.​

House Bill 1507, as passed by the 2016 Regular Session of the Mississippi Legislature, authorizes a special tax of three percent (3%) to be levied on the gross proceeds of room rentals of hotels and motels in the City of Brandon.

Repeal - Pascagoula Tourism and Economic Development Tax | 6/21/2017
The Pascagoula Tourism and Economic Development tax is no longer in effect as of July 1, 2017. This special tax is levied at the rate of three percent (3%) on the gross proceeds of hotels, motels and bed and breakfasts in the City of Pascagoula. Please discontinue collecting the three percent (3%) tax on hotels, motels and bed and breakfasts, as of July 1, 2017.
