Programmer/Analyst

This work involves analyzing and evaluating application systems and designing and developing new or enhanced systems to support the user needs. Programmer/Analysts provide automated systems using a variety of platforms and technologies which include object-oriented analysis and design, Java client/server code development and testing, database design for DB2, Novell Local Area Network implementation, and high speed scanning with digital imaging as well as more traditional MVS operating system implementations in COBOL and CICS.

Required Education

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four year college or university in computer science, data processing, business information systems, or a directly related field. Related experience may be substituted for education.

Systems Administrator

This work involves on-going monitoring, maintenance, and administration of free-standing and networked systems. Systems range from stand-alone PC applications to Local Area Networks (LANs) with 500+ users to Unix servers.

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four year college or university in computer science, data processing, business information systems, or a directly related field OR Associate’s Degree in IT field and two years of directly related experience.
